Welcome to Urbanization Torremuelle

On the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, in the heart of the Costa del Sol, what is today Torremuelle, started being developed around 25 years ago. Torremuelle is actually a private urbanization totally developed. Located in the province of Malaga, in the municipality of Benalmadena, it is in a privileged position for various reasons: geographic, climatological, infrastructure, etc… managing so well the difficult union between tranquility, peacefulness which one appreciates and with so many different landscapes, places and activities to enjoy.  But we will elaborate on these things later. 

Characteristics

The urbanization comprises 8 zones defined in the Municipal Building Decrees for Building Plots that provides urban discipline, and approved by the competent urban authorities. These zones comprise a Sports Zone, a School Zone, a Hotel Zone, a Commercial Zone, Pueblo Andaluz, 1st and 2nd Lines of apartments and Single Houses. 

The total surface area is approximately 501,958 m2 comprising:

  • 264,289 m2 of single houses

  • 41,549 m2 of adjoining apartments

  • 23,865 m2 of commercial and school zones, in which is included a 4* Hotel (Hotel Playabonita), an apartotel (Costa Marina), a bilingual college (The British College), two restaurants, a supermarket and various offices.

  • 72,096 m2 of green zones which include a children’s park

  • 75,637 m2 of pedestrian walkways and of asphalted roads

  • 12,070 m2 of sports zone comprising 5 tennis courts with it’s own federated club and a swimming pool of Olympic size.

  • 6,452 m2 of school zone that is not yet exploited as such.

  • 6,000 m2 of service areas for use of the General Community of Owners, comprising: six transformers whose transfer to the Sevillana Electricity Company in phases is already very advanced, two sewage treatment plants and two water storage tanks.
